Everybody has dreams and goals in
life.
No matter how simple or big our dreams
are, what matter most is to fulfill it and make it happens.
When I was a small kid, I used to
act like an office girl as I put on a piece of my formal dresses with a handbag
on my arm; and also build my own bedroom with arranged pillows as my improvised
bed and make use of my grand mom’s flashlight that I fasten on the wall as my
lampshade. It was funny to think that as a little girl I dressed up myself on business
attire like costume, take note, yeah, with matching high heels pair of shoes of
my aunt. How simple to make that little girl’s dreams happened.
Growing up and knowing things are
not as simple as what I think they were, changes introduced me about learning
what I really wanted to be. But fulfilling a dream is not as easy as I built my
improvised bed and dressed up like an office girl when I was a kid.
Every single dream composed of
hard ways to achieve it. Most of the times I feel like I want to give up
especially when things are hopeless and impossible but little did I understand
that dreams are attainable through hard ways.
Hard ways are created to improve the
sense of responsibility, to know exactly what a person wants deep inside of
her/his heart, to practice patience, to enhance one’s decision making, and to
develop a profound faith in one self and to God.
Support from the family, friends,
and mentors, I agree, have a big role to someone’s being in fulfilling one’s
dream but I realized that I should never do depend on them.
To make a dream happens: reality
check, sometimes, embracing the hard ways and firmly focusing on what truly
matters are better than any other way around.
